Renita Ingrid Kjenslie

Renita Ingrid Kjenslie grew up in North Dakota where a lot of her inspiration started with the open land and the summer winds.

After college in Minneapolis, she moved several places and did a great deal of traveling with camera in hand.

Renita Ingrid’s Norwegian heritage (her Mother was born in Norway) became even

more special when she met Knut (from Norway) in Denver, Colorado, where they married and had two children, Tara and Aaron.

She now lives near Clermont, Florida where she and her husband of 32 years own and operate Seminole-Lake Gliderport, One of the premier Soaring Sites in the U.S.

I used to feel I photographed life long before I had a camera. When I started taking photographs and writing verse, I never intended to publish them. It was just a way of expressing myself and with every photograph came thoughts of life.

Through the years I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to many places and to feel life’s energy through the frames of a camera, whether I am on my front porch or traveling. I have always thought of life as a wonderful gift from God and that has been a great inspiration to me.

I hope you will enjoy the book as much as I have had putting it together.
